A healthcare institution's website is not promotion — it's an information service: the most visited content is clinic opening hours, phone numbers and substitution notices. And exactly this content changes most often — an outdated detail means angry calls, wrong arrivals and unnecessary work for the staff.
That's why we build websites for health centres, clinics, dentists and pharmacies around one goal: key information is always current, updated by your own staff in a minute — without waiting for an external provider.
What a healthcare website must include
- Opening hours by clinic and doctor — clear, with holidays and substitutions marked.
- Contacts by unit: phone numbers, email addresses and appointment hours.
- Appointments: a link to the national e-booking system, a form, or per-clinic instructions.
- Announcements: vaccinations, schedule changes, urgent notices in a visible spot.
- A presentation of units, doctors and staff.
- Documents and forms for patients (applications, consents, self-pay price lists).
- For pharmacies: opening hours, on-call duty and services (blood pressure checks, advice …).
Tip: Clinics, doctors, schedules and cover arrangements are handled by the Healthcare module (€590 + VAT). The accessibility tools and the public information page are included in the price of the website. All modules and plugins with prices
Substitutions published by the front desk — in a minute, via BlocCMS
The site runs on our BlocCMS system, built for staff without technical knowledge: a holiday notice, schedule change or new phone number is published by the front desk itself, and the change is visible immediately. No e-mailing a provider and waiting until the afternoon — the information is out before patients start calling.
Editing can be split by unit: each clinic or pharmacy branch manages its own content, while shared announcements are managed centrally.
Tip: The biggest call-saver is a visibly published substitution: "Dr. Novak — on leave until 15 Aug, substituted by Dr. Kovač, clinic 2" at the top of the clinic's page.
Accessibility by law — WCAG, not just on paper
Public health institutions must provide accessible websites and publish an accessibility statement under the web accessibility legislation (implementing the EU directive). In healthcare, accessibility also simply makes sense: many visitors are elderly, visually impaired, or under stress.
We build websites in line with WCAG 2.1 AA — sufficient contrast, readable typography, keyboard and screen-reader support — and prepare the accessibility statement. This very website is proof: it scores 100/100 for accessibility in Google's audit.
Multiple languages for foreign patients
In tourist areas and border municipalities, some patients don't speak Slovenian. We prepare the key pages — opening hours, appointments, on-call duty — in English, and in German or Italian if needed; all languages are edited through the same BlocCMS.
How much does a healthcare centre or pharmacy website cost?
We offer two clear paths. One-time development: you pay once — a health centre with multiple units from €1,190 + VAT, a smaller clinic or pharmacy from €590 + VAT — and the site is yours; running costs are only hosting and the domain, with optional maintenance for €35 + VAT per month.
Rental: no initial investment — a presentation site from €39, a multi-unit business site from €69 + VAT per month, with a 24-month term, with development, hosting, domain and maintenance already included. After the term, you only pay for hosting and the domain.
We prepare both options in a form suitable for procurement, and advise private clinics, dentists and concession holders just as honestly.
