Bizko.si: a web application for invoices and travel orders

Challenge

Sole traders and small businesses often invoice using software that is either expensive or overcomplicated — or they simply use a spreadsheet. Bizko's goal was a local, straightforward and affordable tool that covers the everyday paperwork of a small business.

This was not a brochure website but the development of a full web application: customer records, documents and numbering sequences have to be flawless, because these are accounting records.

Goal: A Slovenian, straightforward and affordable web tool for invoices, quotes and travel orders that covers a small business's everyday paperwork and makes handover to the accountant easy.

Solution

We built a custom web application: issued and received invoices, quotes and proforma invoices, a record of payments and travel orders — all in a simple interface that requires no accounting knowledge.

We paid particular attention to handing documents over to the accountant: structured exports instead of emailing individual PDFs one by one. New users are welcomed with a free trial — no card and no commitment.
